Concrete Staining

Concrete staining provides the ability to transform existing concrete surfaces from the functional and ordinary gray to a highly fashionable, decorative and durable surface in a variety of color tones and even custom designs. Concrete staining is a wonderful solution for bringing life to those blandly gray surfaces of your existing concrete wherever it may be, indoors or outdoors. From commercial lobbies and workplace operations to your home foyers, basements, garages, driveways, pool decks, walkways and even walls concrete staining should definitely be considered as a beautiful cost effective makeover solution.

How does it work you ask? The staining is actually a reactionary process. Concrete stains penetrate the porous surface, similar to a wood stain and add color without hiding the concrete's natural texture. The penetrating stains don’t cover the substrate uniformly; instead depending or the surface characteristics (age and condition) the coatings infiltrate the substrates pores and colors the inner surface revealing a uniquely beautiful finish. The penetrating stains are able to then shift with the concrete and allow the substrate to breathe unlike previously popular concrete paints. Because the stain actually becomes a permanent part of the concrete it will not fade, chip or peel away.

Acid Staining

Acid stains are widely popular for their ability to create a variegated or multi-colored, marble like effect at a fraction of the cost to natural stone with superior durability. The Acid Stains create beautiful semi-transparent, earth tone hues in browns, greens, blues and brownish reds. They impart a wonderful natural looking marbleized natural stone look that will greatly enhance any environment.

Much of the beauty of Acid Stains is the natural marbleized effect that they leave, Acid Stains will not deliver uniform or single color tone across a large area Although the color pallets for Acid Staining is somewhat limited each treatment creates a one-of-a-kind result; one can also create custom shades by mixing tones or using different application techniques.

Water Base Staining / DYES

Using water based stains provided limitless color combinations and graphic design integration as well. As opposed to the Acid Stains, Water Based stains provide a rather infinite choice of colors. For those looking to energize your concrete surface with colors and custom designs, logos, or faux finishes that might be bright, bold and alive, then water based stains are what you need!

Just as durable as Acid Stains, these Water Based Stains are great for indoors or outdoors; anywhere where you want to create excitement with color from restaurants, schools, offices, malls, pool decks and more. The use of water based stains provide a more controlled application option, and therefore more consistency in color tones through a treatment area.

Overlays

Concrete Overlays offer an obvious, but distinct advantage; they can be applied directly over existing worn, cracked or otherwise damaged concrete and other flooring surfaces. Compared to standard concrete flooring, concrete overlays offer more resistance to crack, provide greater design flexibility and are easy to clean and repair. Concrete Overlays are truly a great way to renovate and beautify an existing floor, concrete or wood, at about half the cost of demolition and replacement.

Overlays are fantastic solutions for both indoor and outdoor environments; they are great for high traffic areas. Overlays can also provide the benefits of waterproofing, slip or skid resistance and protection from chemical spills. Unlike standard concrete, overlays come in a near limitless range of colors and can even be mixed to create custom tints. There are a number of basic finishes such as broom or swirl and knock-down, color flakes, spray top, and stamped surfaces as well.

Stamped Overlays
Stamped Overlays provide an array of add texture options from stone, brick, slate, cobblestone, wood, shells, fossils and many other patterns at fantastic cost savings to the natural products. The near limitless array of design and color possibilities combined with great durability and lower costs than the natural product is what makes Stamped Overlays such a popular choice for both new and renovation surfacing projects.

Self-Leveling
Self-leveling cementitious overlays have grown incredibly popular over the past 5+ years for obvious design and budgetary reasons. Designed exclusively for interior applications, self-leveling is now widely used in schools hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, office buildings, warehouses and even private residences.

Why so popular you ask, well first they provide a simple cost effective solution for repairing badly damaged, cracked and aged concrete. Secondly, they have the advantage of setting in a matter of hours, and entire project can reasonably be completed in a matter of days, that includes surface prep, crack repair, priming, overlay, staining and sealing! Micro-Toppings
Micro-Toppings can be used almost anywhere interior, floors and walls, decks, countertops, showers, . The micro-topping overlay can be applied onto concrete, other overlays, making it a highly versatile and popular choice.

Micro-Toppings are traditionally applied at a thickness of 20 mils (less then the thickness of a credit card) but can be applied thicker or thinner, and are popular for the highly durability and near limitless design options they provide. Micro-toppings are an excellent fix for the problem floor since the product has the ability to easily bond to existing surfaces and cover defects.

Epoxy Coating

Our Epoxies floors are know for providing the luxurious look of granite or terrazzo with a beautiful high-gloss durable finish.
